Embroidery (usually hidden by hair)

Elrian smalll Size

Usually the Embroidery on the back of this robe is hidden by my hair. Not sure what drove me to put my character’s crest there.

Thank you to Liz-Sai/Mioon for taking the Photo.

Elven Hood

hood 1

This woolen hood for my elven Larp charakter has already proven its worth more than once. But I have not managed to take decent photos of it up until now. The Rain started just before it got too dark too shoot, we really got lucky.

Thanks to Liz-Sai/Mioon for taking the Photos

Dusk Portrait

Slowly, I am learning how to use my Camera. These are quite flawed, but I like the mood in these two Portraits of Elrian Tirithien, my Larp character.
Almost every part of the costume is self-made.

Thanks to Yumi for assisting me.

Planning further ahead

Ambra mod

With the warm robes for my mage character almost done I have started to plan the rest of the costume.

I have acquired a nice vougue pattern I will use for this project.
Fort the robes I plan to work with paint and stencils as well as embroidery.
Both will be mostly tone in tone with the robe since the goal is to create a texture on the fabric.

Going back

Elrian_old_revisited_01

I am digging through old Photographs of my elven Larp character.
This was in 2009. I still like it, and so I did a new retouch on it.

I still have the robe and I am planning to make some alterations to it so it will fit my quality standard and the current character concept again.

Mage Robes in Progress

embroidery2

I am planning a second Larp character, a mage named Seren Yimris. And this is what she will be wearing.

The Costume will consist of a thin green Robe, a silly hat and this… thing. Its a second Robe, made from hand-dyed noil silk, lined with wool (I need it to be warm) and hand embroidered. The circles are actual writing in Circular Gallifreyan.
