I made another book, this time for the guards of the main gate. The elven camp on the Epic Empire Larp has always had a book of the guard, with a guard shift plan, pictures of all the camp’s inhabitants and notes on events at the gate. The first one is full now, after several years of use and so I made a replacement.
Broken Crown IV was my most spontaneous Larp so far. I decided to attend about two weeks before the Larp and made a new Character in that period of Time. It worked out better than I’d hoped. And I need to wear coloured contact lenses more often.
The character’s costume is mostly inspired by Joseon hanbok with a few parts I borrowed from my Chinese-inspired character and some general improvised stuff.
Thanks to Lena for taking the photo.
So my Han Dynasty Markswoman is slowly turning a Ming Dynasty Markswoman. I made my fist Hanfu and a black felt hat. This is only the first Layer, both the main Hanfu and a warm coat are still in planning.
I am quite happy with how they turned out and I’m looking forward to making the rest of the costume.
